Help I have to use these apples from my tree before they rot! 😭 they're all hail damaged, and I don't have space in my refrigerator to preserve them 😭😭😭

I'm rinsing them and planning to make apple butter, but I'm just one man. What uses a shitton of apples and doesn't require peeling?


@Alamantus Juicing would do it, if you have smething that does the juicing...

@Anke @Alamantus or dehydrating, cut them to 1/8 pieces, cored, and dry in the oven at like 40 degrees, I think. You can peel them, but it's not required. Oh and if they're very sour, give them a bath in hot sugary water first

@anke Hmm, I've got a nice blender and I could maybe strain out the skin and seeds. I'll definitely try that for some of them!

@Alamantus I'd core the apples rather than blending them with the seeds still in, cause the seeds contain a cyanide compound. Or at least read up on it to figure out if it's enough to matter.
